Annual Events
The Brown Bag Ministry requires lots of support from dedicated volunteers to be effective. Without the volunteers, the ministry would fail. There are several events that must happen each month in order to provide the food to our members(recipients) during the monthly Brown Bag week:
Brown Bag (Distribution) Week – the designated week for each month when each member(recipient) receives their monthly bag of groceries. Volunteer hours are from 8:30-11AM and distribution is from 9-11AM.
Loading Day – Help is needed at the site the Friday before distribution week from 8:30am - 10:00am, to help unload the grocery items as they come in and to help set up the site for the following week.
All of these dates are listed in the calendar for the year. Check your schedule and if you have some time to help with the ministry, come join us!
